There are a number of ways to finance an artificial turf lawn project. We know about and have experience with these home improvement financing options and organizations.
First we’d like to mention the organization we have had the most experience with because it is the number one renewable energy finance program in the United States and offers financing for over 150,000 renewable energy products which includes artificial grass. Our turf products are registered with this program being one.
The HERO program (Home Energy Renovation Opportunity) partners with local governments in over 17 counties across California to make renewable energy products more affordable. In order to qualify for this program, here are a few factors to take in consideration as we understand them;
- All mortgage-related debt must not exceed 90 percent of a property value.
Mortgage payments must be current at the time of application and property owners must not have had more than (1) 30-day mortgage late payment over the past year.
- Property tax must be current and no more than one late payment in the last three years.
- No outstanding liens, such as tax or mechanic’s liens.
This program is offered by the same organization as the HERO Program above Renovate America.
Key elements of this program are $0 down and financing for projects at $2000 and up.
We understand this to be the second largest home improvement financing option that is government approved, low-cost, and a PACE financing solution from Renew Financial. With CaliforniaFIRST, homeowners get 100% upfront funding that they repay on their property taxes for up to 30 years. It is second largest we think because it is not as available in as many areas as the HERO Program.
Also offers PACE financing -(What is PACE?). The state that the, “provides 100 percent, no money down PACE financing to help property owners make cost-effective energy efficiency, renewable energy, water conservation, safety and storm protection improvements to residential, multifamily, commercial and agricultural buildings. Eligibility is based on equity and your ability to pay, among other factors. No minimum FICO score is required. Payments can be spread out up to 30 years in some states, and your first annual payment may be deferred for up to one year or longer, subject to underwriting guidelines, approvals and date of funding.”
They offer home improvement loans. Click on the link above for details.
If you have an account with Wells Fargo or even if not it may be worthwhile for you to check out this program too.
